Studio Headshot Sessions Los Gatos

My studio headshot sessions in Los Gatos serve professionals who need more than a quick LinkedIn photo. I work with executives, consultants, and entrepreneurs throughout the Bay Area who understand their headshot is often the first impression they make on potential clients, partners, and employers.

Why Los Gatos Professionals Choose Studio Headshot Sessions

Your headshot does more work than any other image in your business. It’s on your LinkedIn profile, your website about page, your email signature, your speaker one-sheets, and anywhere someone might decide whether to trust you with their time or money.

Most professionals avoid updating their headshots because they dread the awkwardness of posing. They worry about looking stiff, fake, or uncomfortable. That’s exactly why I approach studio headshot sessions differently.

Before we ever pick up a camera, we talk about where these images will live—LinkedIn, your website, speaker materials, media kits. We discuss what you want people to feel when they see you: approachable authority, creative innovation, corporate polish, warm expertise.

Then we shoot multiple variations so you have options for different contexts. The headshot you use for a corporate consulting pitch shouldn’t be the same one you use for your personal brand on Instagram. You need range, and my Los Gatos studio sessions give you that flexibility.

What’s Included in Every Studio Headshot Session

Pre-Session Brand Consultation

We spend 20-30 minutes on a video call before your session discussing your brand positioning, target audience, and where you need these images. This isn’t just “wear solid colors and avoid patterns.” We map out specific looks for specific platforms and purposes.

Professional Hair and Makeup

Every studio headshot session includes professional styling. Even if you never wear makeup in daily life, camera-ready grooming makes a measurable difference in how polished and professional your images look. For men, this means grooming touch-ups and shine control. For women, this means natural, professional makeup that photographs beautifully.

Multiple Looks and Backgrounds

My Los Gatos studio is set up to create variety without chaos. We’ll shoot 3-4 different setups—classic corporate backgrounds, modern editorial looks, perhaps something more creative depending on your industry. You’ll leave with headshots that work across every professional context you need.

Personalized Direction and Coaching

I’ve worked with hundreds of camera-shy professionals throughout Silicon Valley, South Bay, and East Bay. The difference between a stiff, uncomfortable headshot and one where you look confident and approachable comes down to coaching. I’ll guide your posture, your expression, even where you’re looking to create images that feel authentic rather than forced.

Strategic Image Selection

After your session, you’ll receive a private gallery to review your images. I help you identify which headshots work best for which platforms. The one that’s perfect for your website hero image might not be the best choice for LinkedIn. You’ll know exactly which image to use where.

What Happens During Your Studio Headshot Session

Before Your Session

After you book, I’ll send you detailed wardrobe guides and prep instructions. We’ll have a brief conversation about your brand positioning, target audience, and where you need these images. This helps me understand what we’re creating and why.

Hair and Makeup

Every studio headshot session includes professional styling (60-75 minutes). Even if you never wear makeup in daily life, camera-ready grooming makes a measurable difference in how polished and professional your images look. For men, this means grooming touch-ups and shine control. For women, this means natural, professional makeup that photographs beautifully.

The Photo Session

My Los Gatos studio at 117 Broadway is set up to create variety without chaos. We’ll shoot multiple setups—classic corporate backgrounds, modern editorial looks, perhaps something more creative depending on your industry. I’ll guide your posture, your expression, even where you’re looking to create images that feel authentic rather than forced.

I’ve worked with camera-shy professionals throughout Silicon Valley, South Bay, and East Bay for 16 years. The difference between a stiff, uncomfortable headshot and one where you look confident and approachable comes down to coaching. That’s what I provide throughout your session.

Image Selection

After your session, we’ll hop on a Zoom call (same day or next day) where you’ll see all your images. You’ll choose your favorites, and we’ll discuss retouching preferences—from minimal touch-ups to full magazine-style retouching. You decide what feels right for your brand.

Delivery

For headshot sessions, you’ll receive your professionally retouched images within 1-3 business days via website download. High-resolution files ready for any professional use.

“Gaby is a total pro at making you feel comfortable and relaxed”

I’m so glad I found Gaby Clark Photography! I was feeling super overwhelmed about getting new photos for my personal branding because, let’s be honest, I had no clue where to start. and most importantly, how do I make sure the photos actually show who I am.

Enter Gaby. From the first consultation, she made everything so easy. We sat down in person and went through everything like, EVERYTHING. She asked all the right questions about my business, the vibe I wanted to give off, and even where I planned to use the photos (LinkedIn, website, speaking gigs, etc.).

“I’ve always avoided being in front of the camera, until now”

When I launched my pet photography business, I knew I needed professional branding photos. But as someone who has always been more comfortable behind the lens, I was nervous about stepping in front of it.

From the moment we started, Gaby made me feel like a star. The experience was pure luxury, from wardrobe consultations to hair and makeup, to the calm, serene studio atmosphere. And for the first time ever, I actually had fun in a photoshoot!

If you’re rebranding, changing careers, or want to elevate your personal brand, do yourself a favor, get professional images that show who you truly are. They will change how you show up in the world.
