Initial 20-Minute Phone Consultation
We start with a brief call to understand your business, your brand goals, and what you need these images to accomplish. This helps me determine if a Signature Brand Story Session is the right fit for your needs.
In-Person Brand Strategy and Wardrobe Consultation
After you book, we schedule an in-person strategy and wardrobe consultation at my Los Gatos studio (typically 1-1.5 hours). This happens a few days to 2-3 weeks before your actual photo session, depending on my availability and any special prep you need.
This is where we define your Ideal Client Avatar and brand personality together. We map out every shot across multiple locations—what story each location tells, what you’ll wear in each setting, what activities we’ll capture. You’ll create your Personal Brand Blueprint (a multi-framework snapshot of your voice, energy, and leadership style) and your Ideal Client Blueprint (defining who your people really are, what they fear, what they crave, and how to attract them).
You’ll leave this consultation knowing exactly what we’re creating across every location and why each image matters for your business.
Professional Hair and Makeup
Every Signature Brand Story Session includes professional styling (60-75 minutes) at the beginning of your shoot day. We create a polished, camera-ready look that photographs beautifully across both studio and lifestyle settings while still looking authentically like you.
Multi-Location Photo Session
These sessions have no time limit. We start at my Los Gatos studio at 117 Broadway for polished brand portraits and headshots with multiple backgrounds and setups. Then we move to your workspace and any other relevant locations.
Typical Signature Brand Story Sessions run 4-6 hours total, but we work at whatever pace feels comfortable and allows us to capture everything you need.
Unlimited Wardrobe Changes
Bring as many outfit options as you want for different locations and contexts. We’ll shoot professional studio looks, approachable working-from-home imagery, polished client-meeting attire, and casual behind-the-scenes content. You’ll have variety that still feels cohesive and authentically you.
Strategic Location Planning
During your pre-session consultation, we’ll discuss every location where we’ll shoot. Your home office, your client meeting space, a coffee shop where you work, your workshop or studio, anywhere that tells part of your brand story. I’ll provide guidance on preparing each space and what activities we’ll capture in each setting.
Lifestyle and Action Shots

Image Selection
If we do image selection the same day, we’ll sit down together in person at the studio after your session. If we do it the next day, you choose whether you’d prefer to come back in person or hop on Zoom, whatever’s more convenient for you.
You’ll see all your images from every location. We’ll discuss which images work best for which platforms and purposes, and you’ll choose your favorites. Then we talk retouching preferences, minimal touch-ups or full magazine-style retouching. You decide what feels right for your brand.
